Peanut Butter Protein Bites
These little cuties make the perfect bite-sized snack before a workout, after a workout, or anytime you’re on the go! They’re the perfect size for before a workout; if you’re part of the early-morning crew and just need a bite of something before you head out the door, but not a whole breakfast… enter peanut butter protein balls!
They taste great and you can almost trick yourself into thinking it’s a cookie… ALMOST!! They’re toddler-approved too! In the case of an allergy, you can substitute the Peanut Butter for any nut butter.
PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BALLS
1¼ cup Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup of 100% Natural Peanut Butter
½ cup Vanilla Protein Powder
1/3 cup Mini Chocolate Chips (Enjoy Life brand)
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup Water
1 T Chia Seeds
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Roll into 1 inch balls.
Set on a sheet with parchment paper, or directly into a glass container for storage, and place in the fridge for 2 hours to set before eating.
Store in the fridge!
